7th Annual Upstate Invitational at The Laffer Gallery

SCHUYLERVILLE, N.Y., September 16, 2019 — The Laffer Gallery today announced it will open a new exhibit, “7th Annual Upstate Invitational” features artwork by regional artists Fern Apfel, Robyn Mogan Giddings and Audrie Sturman. These distinguished artists were honored with last year’s “7th Annual Upstate Artists” Best in Show Award, juried by Laura Von Rosk.

“Our annual Upstate Artists exhibition is a great way to showcase, side by side, works by some of Upstate New York’s emerging and accomplished artists. Each year, we have a new juror, and the Annual Upstate Invitation is the showcase of the talented artists who are selected Best in Show during a given year,” said Erik Laffer, owner, The Laffer Gallery. “We’re excited to present the work that captured the imagination and earned the appreciation of 2018 juror Laura Von Rosk.

The 7th Annual Upstate Invitational exhibit will be open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., from November 2ndto December 1st. Showings are also available by appointment.

Please Note: The Gallery will be closed October 30th– November 2ndfor installation. We will resume to normal business hours on Sunday December 3rd. We will be open by appointment only during this time.
