CHATHAM — Four players reached double figures in scoring in Hudson’s 79-56 Patroon Conference boys basketball victory over Chatham on Wednesday.

Dayquan Griffin led Hudson (10-2, 10-5) with 20 points. Isaiah Maines had 15 and Noah Hedgepeth and Caleb Romano 14 apiece.

Jayshawn Williams and Tobias Jeralds each had 10 points for Chatham. Kendrick Clarke added nine and Zach Gregg had eight.

Hudson led 18-11 after one quarter, 42-22 at halftime and 59-39 after three quarters.

HUDSON (79): Hedgepeth 5-1-14, Maines 4-7-15, Anderson 3-0-8, Griffin 8-4-20, Romano 5-2-14, Johnson 1-0-2, Alexander 1-0-2, Gordon 1-0-2, DeJesus 1-0-2. Totals 22-14-79.

Bishop Maginn 64, Germantown 46

GERMANTOWN — Ja’Nyve Smith poured in 27 points to highlight Bishop Gibbons’ 64-46 victory over Germantown in Wednesday’s Central Hudson Valley League boys basketball game.

Germantown got off to a fast start, building an 18-9 lead after one quarter, but the Griffins narrowed the gap to 29-23 by halftime, then outscored the Clippers 41-17 in the second half to earn the victory.

Robbie Eaton and Dylan Mayr each had 11 points for the Clippers.
