CRARYVILLE — Jace Anderson scored 19 points to lead Germantown past Taconic Hills, 64-29, in the consolation game of the Taconic Hills Holiday Tournament.

The Clippers, ranked No. 15 in the latest Class D state rankings, raced out to a 23-9 lead in the opening quarter and extended te gap to 41-19 at halftime and 58-27 through three quarters.

Robbie Eaton added 14 points to Germantown’s cause. Dylan Mayr had 12 and Bryan Bathrick 11.

Joel Preusser was Taconic Hills’ top socrer with eight points.

GERMANTOWN (64): Eaton 5-2-14, Mayr 5-1-12, Sanzo 0-1-1, Anderson 4-11-19, Rifenburg 1-0-2, Bathrick 4-1-11, Mckinney 2-1-5. Totals 21-17-64.

Berlin-New Lebanon 59, Taconic Hills 38

CRARYVILLE — Nine players reached the scoring column as Berlin/New Lebanon defeated Taconic Hills, 59-38, in the opening round of the Taconic Hills Holiday Tournament.

Malachi Ritter knocked down five three-pointers en route to a 17-point performance to lead Berlin/NL. Shawn awlows had 13.

Ryan Nowak had 12 points for Taconic Hills. Kobe Van Alstyne chipped in with eight.

Berlin/NL posted quarterly leads of 11-6, 25-16 and 47-26.

BERLIN/NEW LEBANON (59): Kane 3-0-6, Rifenburg 3-1-7, Ritter 6-0-17, Vetra 0-1-1, Pawlows 5-3-13, Billert 2-2-8, Collin 0-3-3, Ruebel 1-0-2, Toro 1-0-2. Totals 21-10-59.
