STATE POLICE

n John S. Novine, 54, of Kinderhook, was arrested at 8:47 a.m. Jan. 24 in Kinderhook and charged with second-degree forgery of a deed, will or contract, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, both class D felonies; and fourth-degree grand larceny of a property valuing over $1,000, a class E felony. He was held.

n An 18-year-old man, of Beacon, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in Canaan and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Sarah E. Sroka, 25, of Athens, was arrested at 11 p.m. Jan. 25 in Livingston and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors and first-time offenses; failure to keep to the right, driving left of pavement markings and crossing road hazard markings, all infractions. She was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Ernest L. Taylor, 30, of Catskill, was arrested at 2:08 p.m. Jan. 26 in Greenport and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Bryan A. Matthews, 19, of Great Neck, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in Claverack and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Stephen L. Morrison, 52, of Hudson, was arrested at 11:37 p.m. Jan. 26 in Germantown and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors and first-time offenses. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Christopher J. Louise, 21, of Philmont, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 27 in Philmont and charged with second-degree burglary, a class C felony. He was held.

n James M. Connolly, 24, of Ghent, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. Jan. 28 in Philmont and charged seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; controlled substances in a non-original container, unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations; and driving while ability impaired with alcohol, an infraction. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n An 18-year-old, of Philmont, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. Jan. 28 in Philmont and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; controlled substances in a non-original container and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations. He was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Michael Arnold, 30, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. Jan. 28 in New Lebanon and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor and first-time offense; moving unsafely from a lane, crossing road hazard markings, a speed violation of exceeding 55 mph and refusing to take a breath test, all infractions. Arnold’s arrestee status is unknown.

n Andrew M. Tuthill, 33, of Stephentown, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 29 in New Lebanon and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, a class E felony; third-degree bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor; and not providing an appropriate shelter for dogs, a violation. Tuthill’s arrestee status is unknown.

COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

n Eden Kane, 45, of Valatie, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. Jan. 14 in Claverack and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor. Kane had a court date set for Jan. 29.

n Mark Caiola, 35, of New Marlborough, Massachusetts was arrested at 11:46 p.m. Jan. 15 in Copake and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor; speeding and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, both infractions. Caiola was held in lieu of of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond and had a court date set for Jan. 28.

n Anthony Servider, 45, of Hudson, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. Jan. 17 in Greenport and charged with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Servider had a court date set for Jan. 28.

n Kelsey Johnson, 25, of Castleton on Hudson, was arrested at 8:21 a.m. Jan. 18 in Kinderhook and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; and having an uninspected motor vehicle, an infraction. Johnson has a court date set for Feb. 12.

n Olivia Armstrong, 28, of Niverville, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. Jan. 19 in Stockport and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a class A misdemeanor. She had a court date set for Jan. 28.
