GHENT — Celebrate Arbor Day! Want to know more about the trees around you? Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District invites you on April 29 frin 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. to learn basic tree identification skills. All are welcome for a relaxing walk along the 1.5 miles of nature trails at Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center. Our staff will teach you how to identify tree features, as well as how to use a dichotomous key to identify them! If you have a tree ID book or a hand lens, feel free to bring it!
