LOCAL ROUNDUP: Bombers edge Clippers in OT
GERMANTOWN — Pine Plains outscored Germantown 6-2 in overtime to earn a 43-39 non-league girls basketball victory on Thursday.
Germantown built leads of 11-5 after one quarter and 22-13 at halftime, but Pine Plains outscored the Clippers 10-5 in the third stanza and 14-10 in the fourth to force overtime.
Emily Torre was Pine Plains’ top scorer with 14 points. Lilyanna Brenner added 12 and Emma Hall had nine.
Riley Gibbons led all scorers with 20 points for Germantown. Kaycee Hayes contributed nine.

Josiah Decker (106), Aidan Scarpinati (113), Tommy Notabartolo (138), Anthony Iamunno (145), Andrew Riley (170), Colby Lord (182), Zarib Alam (220) and Seth Dillworth (285) all won their matches by pin for C-A.
Cairo-Durham’s lone victory came in the 152-pound division where Tyler Geno decisioned Joseph Martinez, 6-5.

EAST GREENBUSH — Mike Laney’s 214-568 sparked Maple Hill to a 3-2 victory over Chatham in Patroon Conference bowling action on Thursday.
Shawn Miller followed Laney with a 195-551 for the Wildcats.
Tyler Beaudry rolled a 21-576 for Chatham. Andrew Duso added a 226-567.

Cohoes 30, Maple Hill 2
COHOES — Abby Houser fired a 181-531 to lead Cohoes to a 30-2 victory over Maple hill in Thursday’s Colonial Council girls bowling match.
MAdisyn Bullock had a 192-523 and Ellen Spence a 194-521 for the Tigers.
Kate Ackerman’s 199-500 led Maple Hill. Rachel Gardner chipped in with a 181-479.
Cohoes had games of 917, 991 and 1,003 for a 2,911 total. Maple Hill rolled an 937, 844 and 884 for 2,565.
