Police investigating Lexington shooting

LEXINGTON — State police confirmed just after 2 p.m. they are investigating a shooting in Lexington.

The shooting occurred behind a church, according to scanner reports.

State Police Public Information Officer Steven Nevel did not immediately know whether the victim is a male or female.
