LOCAL ROUNDUP: Maple Hill grapplers take down Catskill
CATSKILL — Caleb Svingala remained unbeaten and unscored upon this season as Maple Hill defeated Catskill, 51-35, in Thursday’s Patroon Conference wreslting match.
Svingala needed all of 20 seconds to pin Catskill’s Scott Baker in the 126-pound division. Other Wildcats recording pins were Javier Ayarza (120), Anthony Ortiz (132) and James Colvin (138), Reese Steele (160).
Jesse Davies (145), Daniel Forbes (152), Stephen Forbes (170), Ricky Edwards (220) and George Hillenbrand all won their matches by pin for Catskill.

Riley Gibbons’ 12 points topped Germantown. Megan Dunn contributed 11.

EAST GREENBUSH — Andrew Duso’s 266-643 highlighted Chatham’s 4-1 Patroon Conference bowling victory over Coxsackie-Athens on Thursday.
