CRARYVILLE — Freshman Janay Brantley scored 33 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to spark Catskill to a 49-29 Patroon Conference girls basketball victory over Taconic Hills on Friday.

Kiana Salierno scored the first seven points of the game for the cats as they took a 15-5 lead after one quarter. They extended the gap to 26-14 at halftime and 40-22 through three quarters.

Salierno had four assists for the Cats.

Kirsten Shumsky led Taconic Hills with 14 points. Marleah Perry added eight.

CATSKILL (49): Brantley 15-2-33, Konsul 1-2-4, Leipman 0-0-0, O’Connell 2-1-5, Salierno 2-2-7. Totals 20-7-49.

Maple Hill 73, Greenville 18

CASTLETON — Maple Hill remained unbeaten in Patroon Conference girls basketball with a 73-18 victory over Greenville on Friday.

Natasha Strock topped the Wildcats with 15 points. Alexis Tedford added 11 and Sophia Chevrier had eight.

Molly SanEmeterio and Bella Trostle each had six points for Greenville.

Maple Hill led 14-0 after one quarter, 34-3 at halftime and 56-10 at the end of the three quarters.

Ichabod Crane 69, Mohonasen 56

VALATIE — Madison Graham dropped 22 points to highlight Ichabod Crane’s 69-56 victory over Mohonasen in Friday’s Colonial Council girls basketball game.

Abigail Dolge chipped 16 points to the Riders’ attack. Ashley Aes had 10.

Breanna Lott was Mohonasen’s top scorer with 19 points. Ava Fasolino had 13 and Jahddah Lennon 11.

The Riders built quarterly leads of 18-17, 30-27 and 45-36.

MOHONASEN (56): Collins 1-0-2, Fasolino 5-0-13, Hart 2-2-8, Lennon 5-1-11, Lott 7-3-19, Petrocci 1-0-3. Totals 21-6-56.

Germantown 47, Loudonville 40

LOUDONVILLE — A big third quarter run helped Germantown post a 47-40 victory over Loudonville Christian, 47-40, n Friday’s Central Hudson Valley League girls basketball game.

Germantown was up 14-13 at the end of the first quarter, but Loudnville drew even at 23-23 by halftime. The Clippers then went on a 16-7 run in the stanza to take the lead for good.

Kierlan Denninger led Germantown ith 13 points. Riley Gibbons and Kaycee Hayes each had 10.

Skyler Householder’s 18 points topped Loudonville Christian.
