Catskill is No. 10 Class B boys basketball team in the state in the first New York State Sportswriters Association rankings of the season.

GREENVILLE — The Hudson Bluehawks visited the Greenville Spartans Monday night, and handed the Spartans their first loss of the season, 96-70.

COXSACKIE — The Coxsackie-Athens Wrestling Team will be hosting its second annual Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday and Thursday.

CRARYVILLE — The Greenville Spartans paid the Titans of Taconic Hills a visit Friday night and left with a blowout victory in their Patroon Conference matchup, 87-32.

CATSKILL — Matt Bowes fired a 612 triple with a high single game of 220 to lead Hudson to a 5-0 victory over Taconic Hills in Thursday’s Patroon Conference bowling match.

GREENVILLE — Berlin earned a 46-30 victory over Greenville in Thursday’s Patroon Conference wrestling match.
