Live with Matt

Matt Luvera

Live with Matt began in 2012 as a video blog. It started after television icon, Regis Philbin retired from his talk show, “Live with Regis and Kelly” and the dream that I had of co-hosting with Kelly Ripa. Inspired by friends that kept telling me to submit a video to Kelly to be a guest co-host, I decided to begin this video blog. It continued to be a weekly video blog in which I would talk about events and things that happened during the last week.

Over the last three years, the video blog evolved to a weekly talk show that still included a chat session with a variety of co-hosts, as well as other segments that included visiting local businesses and places of interest, as well as segments on cooking, games, and fitness.

In 2015, I was nominated to be a Greene County Legislator. I knew that the campaign schedule would take time and I had to give up the weekly talk show in September 2015. In November of that year, I was elected a Legislator. Many people requested that I continue the show and the format was changed from weekly episodes to a talk show on the last Tuesday of each month. On May 31, 2016, we launched Live with Matt through Columbia-Greene Media. I’m excited to be working with Columbia-Greene Media and all of their sponsors.
