BOWLING ROUNDUP: Bowes’ 612 trio leads Hudson

CATSKILL — Matt Bowes fired a 612 triple with a high single game of 220 to lead Hudson to a 5-0 victory over Taconic Hills in Thursday’s Patroon Conference bowling match.

Freshman Zach Porreca rolled a 210-67 for Hudson. Taylor Shackleton led Taconic Hills with a 144-414.

Hudson (3-3) had games of 944, 917 and 826 for a 2,687 total. Taconic Hills had a total pinfall of 2,072 off games of 674, 657 and 741.

“We were able to get some of our new bowlers into match like Jarrett Crast, Thomas Allie and Mollie Keeler,” Hudson coach Steve Markowitz said. “We are getting better every day and I’m excited to see how we finish season.”

Maple Hill 5, Chatham 0

EAST GREENBUSH — Michael Laney rolled a 672 triple to spark Maple hill to a 5-0 victory over Chatham in Thursday’s Patroon Conference bowling match.

Lanes had games of 217, 236 and 219 for the Wildcats. Kevin Ackerman added a 248-599 and Shawn Miller had a 220-552.

Andrew Duso led Chatham with a 632 triple, rolling games of 227, 1818 and 224. Tyler Beaudry chipped in with a 229-554.

Maple Hill had a total pinfall of 3,226 on games of 1,041, 1,084 and 1,101. Chatham had an 899, 1,027 and 979 for 2,905.

Cairo-Durham 5, Rensselaer 0

CATSKILL — Phil Decker’s 220-624 hilighted Cairo-Durham’s 5-0 Patroon conference bowling victory over Rensselaer on Thursday.

Tim Foust had a 226-566 for Rensselaer

Mohonasen 31, Maple Hill 1

SCHENECTADY — Elizabeth Delorenzo spun a 226-602 to help Mohonasen post a 31-1 victory over Maple Hill in Colonial Council girls bowling action on Thursday.

Hannah Gardner had a 180-489 for Maple Hill. Kate Ackerman added a 183-484.
