GERMANTOWN — Bishop Maginn raced out to a 31-4 lead after one quarter on Friday and went on to hand Germantown a 101-44 setback on Senior Night at Germantown High School.

The Griffins extended ther lead to 51-14 by halftime and 78-31 through three quarters.

Ja’Nyve Smith led Maginn with 29 points. Messsiah Galloway added 16 and Nick Joseph and Tony Martin each had 12.

Jace Anderson was Germantown’s top scorer with 12 points. Robbie eaton chipped in with 10.

BISHOP MAGINN (101): Badger 1-0-2, Galloway 4-7-16, Joseph 6-0-12, Martin 4-1-12, Martinez 4-1-9, Millikens 0-2-2, Smith 10-6-29, Williams 4-1-9, Willingham 1-0-2, Green 4-0-8. Totals 34-18-101.

GERMANTOWN (44): Anderson 4-4-12, Bathrick 1-0-2, Eaton 4-1-10, Hoffman 1-0-3, Mayr 1-0-2, McKinney 3-1-7, Mollo 2-0-4, Rifenburgh 1-2-4. Totals 17-8-44.

PATROON

Hudson 90, Maple Hill 79

HUDSON — Dayquan Griffin and Caleb Romano combined for 49 points to spark Hudson to a 90-79 victory over Maple Hill in Friday’s Patroon Conference boys basketball game.

Griffin had 25 points and Romano 24, including four three-pointers for Hudson. Isaiah Maines contributed 15 points and Noah Hedgepeth had 11.

Blake Decker topped Maple Hill with 26 points. Rian Jewett added 24 and Dominic Hirschoff had 15.

The Bluehawks built quarterly leads of 30-14, 46-24 and 66-46.

MAPLE HILL (79): Utter 0-2-2, Jewett 10-2-24, McGarvey 2-0-4, Hirschoff 5-4-15, Sherwood 2-0-4, Marra 1-2-4, Decker 12-2-26. Totals 32-12-79.

Greenville 73, Chatham 53

GREENVILLE — Damien Fiducia scored 20 points and Joe Nicosia nailed four three-pointers and finished with 17 points to highlight Greenville’s 73-53 Patroon Conference boys basketball victory over Chatham on Friday.

Greenville led 16-14 after one quarter but Chatham drew even at 30-30 at halftime. The Spartans went on to outscore the Panthers 19-12 in the third quarter and 24-11 in the fourth to pull away.

JJ O’Connor and James Mitchell each had 13 points for the Spartans.

Freshman Matt Thorsen hit four three-pointers and finished with a team-high 16 points for Chatham. Jayshawn Williams added 14 points.

CHATHAM (53): Baccaro 2-0-5, Clarke 1-0-2, Gregg 1-0-3, T. Jeralds 2-0-4, Kastner 3-0-7, M. Thorsen 6-0-16, Van Tassel 1-0-2, Williams 7-0-14. Totals 23-0-53.

Schalmont 70, Ichabod Crane 48

ROTTERDAM — Schalmont had 12 players break into the scoring column in Friday’s 70-48 Colonial Council boys basketball victory over Ichabod Crane.

Jake Sanford led the Sabres balanced attack with 16 points. Shane O’Dell had 13.

Brett Richards’ 15 points led the Riders. Zach Kennedy had 12.

Schalmont held quarterly leads of 22-8, 38-17 and 56-28.

ICHABOD CRANE (48): Clickman 0-2-2, Dolan 1-0-3, Holzhaur 2-0-6, Kennedy 4-2-12, Mulica 0-2-2, Ogden 1-0-2, Richards 7-1-15, Schmidt 1-0-2, Vecellio 1-0-2, Walsh 0-1-1, Wheeler 0-1-1. Totals 17-9-48.
