Brian J. Lane

Brian J. Lane, 19, of Green Point Road, Catskill, passed away tragically on February 13, 2020.

Brian was born in Walton, the son of Brian E. and Jennifer Craft Lane. A lifelong Catskill resident, he was a graduate of Catskill High School, class of 2018.

Brian had an enthusiasm for life that touched everyone he met. He had a love for farming, working the land and building and crafting by hand. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and had a love of nature. He shared his love of music with all he knew, especially his mother. He loved a hot summer day with an ice cold beer.

Beloved son of Brian and Jennifer Lane, loving brother of Abigail Lane, adored maternal grandson of Pat Craft of Bloomville and the late Richard Craft, cherished paternal grandson of James E. Lane of Cairo and the late Bonnie Lane and devoted boyfriend of Briauna Ruger of Catskill. Brian leaves behind lifelong friends who were considered his brothers, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 18 from 4-8pm at Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, 139 Jefferson Hgts, Catskill. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 19 at 11am. Interment will follow at the Town of Catskill Cemetery.
