C-A wrestling team to host Military Appreciation Night

COXSACKIE — The Coxsackie-Athens Wrestling Team will be hosting its second annual Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday and Thursday.

The team will be honoring our Veterans by hosting them for dinner on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Our wrestlers and their parents will be serving local veterans as a token of our appreciation for their service.

In addition, each veteran will receive a T-Shirt for the night’s event.

On Thursday, the Coxsackie-Athens Wrestling Team will be competing against Rensselaer High School, at Coxsackie-Athens. During the typical cross-mats portion of the event, we will be announcing, recognizing and cheering for our Veterans.

Suggested donation for admittance is $3 per person, with all proceeds donated to a local American Legion Post.
