CANAAN — A Massachusetts man was killed Tuesday after driving a commercial truck into a guardrail on Interstate 90, state police said.

The crash happened at about 2:56 a.m. in the area of the westbound off-ramp of Exit B3 in town.

Jose A. Lopez, 32, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was pronounced dead at Berkshire Medical Center.

Lopez was driving west on I-90 in a commercial truck and was exiting at B3 when the truck struck the end of the guardrail, state police said. The truck continued to roll for about 200 feet before coming to a stop, state police said.
