The Coxsackie-Athens Little League Softball Majors team defeated Cairo-Durham in the Greene County Softball Association Championship game on Tuesday at the Isabella C. Rainey field in Athens. Coxsackie-Athens won 10-4 and was led by the pitching of Ellie McCarthy. The team finished the season with an overall record of 16-0.
