The Glencadia Rod & Gun Club held a Family Day in memory of Don “Ducky” Novak on September 29, 2019. Ducky, who passed away in June, was a member of the Club since 1945 when he joined as a junior member. Ducky was a valued member of the Club and served as Secretary for many years. Over the years, he volunteered at many of the Club events, cooked at previous Family Days, maintained the grounds, and helped in numerous other ways. A plaque was presented at the event to his daughter and her husband, Carol and Steve van Denburgh, and is permanently displayed on the clubs’ wall.
