To the editor:

Another year has come and gone and the Kinderhook Elks Lodge 2530 and the Ghent VFW would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all that helped with our endeavor. The support from we received from the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Venture Crew from Kinderhook Troop 113, the Kinderhook Runners Club, every person that donated food, money, blankets, hats and mittens, boxes, the wrappers, food sorters, drivers and their helpers, Mario’s True Value, Bimbo Foods, Hannaford, Price Chopper, Bagel Tyme, Dunkin Donuts and anyone else who we failed to mention. The Marion Stegmann Fund only exists because of people like you. This program would not happen without the support of individuals, families and businesses that give what they can to help others less fortunate in the Ichabod Crane, New Lebanon, and Chatham School Districts. Thank you again. We hope we can count on you again.
