Zadock Pratt Museum brunch fundraiser
TANNERSVILLE — The Zadock Pratt Museum’s 2020 brunch fundraiser will be held noon-2 p.m. March 29 at the Washington Irving Inn, 6629 Route 23A, Tannersville. Looking for something elegant and fun to celebrate? Come to the Zadock Pratt Museum 2020 Springtime Fundraising Brunch Event, spend a leisurely afternoon with old and new friends, enjoy delicious food and fun activities while supporting our local history.
The Zadock Pratt Museum is kicking off its 61st Season with a springtime fundraiser in support of this year’s renovation plans, groundbreaking exhibition dedicated to 19th century itinerant portrait painter Amos Hamlin, and the launch of the Pratt Rock Park restoration project.
The fundraiser is hosted in a charming 19th century setting at the historic Washington Irving Inn, a gracious and otherworldly jewel of an experience in the Catskill Mountains. Signature homemade food created and served up by hostess and innkeeper Stephanie Jozic, raffle baskets, and Chinese auction will make this an unforgettable experience.
The menu includes scrumptious homemade breakfast and lunch buffet choices: Poached Eggs ~ Washington Irving Inn’s Specialty Home Fries ~ Bacon ~ Sausage ~ French Toast served up with Catskill Mountain Maple Syrup ~ Vegetable Quiche ~ Washington Irving Inn’s Specialty Breakfast Coffee Cake (ingredients include apples, carrots, coconut, buttermilk and whole wheat flour) ~ Washington Irving Inn’s Homemade Scones & Croissants (yes, homemade croissants) ~ Fruit Assortment ~ Coffee ~ Tea ~ Hot Chocolate ~ and of course, Ms. Jozic’s Famous Plum Jam, made annually from Storey’s local plum harvest, and preserved each year exclusively for guests of the Washington Irving Inn.
This is your chance to step inside the picturesque 19th century world of the Catskill Mountains, while supporting the history of our region through the Pratt Museum. For those already familiar with this experience no further enticement is necessary. For those yet to discover it, you’re in for a special treat. Tickets are $40 per person.
