n Jalysia A. Banks, 29, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was arrested at 12:55 p.m. Feb. 16 in Austerlitz and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with hallucinogenic substances, a class C felony. She was held.

n John R. Vogt, 67, of Ancram, was arrested at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 in Livingston and charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony. He was held in lieu of cash bail.

n A 16-year-old boy, of Hudson, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 16 in Claverack and charged with two counts of assault while confined in a correctional facility, a class D felony. He was held.

n Thomas Viola, 26, of Rensselaer, was arrested at 8:06 p.m. Feb. 16 in Canaan and charged with first-degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor; and failing to use a designated lane, an infraction. He was released to a third party.

n Shawn M. Dawley, 45, of Kinderhook, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in Kinderhook and charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years, a class E felony; resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor; an equipment violation of having no head lights, having insufficient/no tail lamps, making an improper right turn and refusing to take a breath test, all infractions. He was released on his own recognizance.

n Gordon M. Russell, 25, of Clermont, was arrested at 2:34 a.m. Feb. 18 in Clermont and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a class E felony; operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors and first-time offenses; and a motor vehicle violation of failing to deliver a license and registration, an unclassified misdemeanor; moving unsafely from a lane and equipment violation of inadequate muffler, an infraction. Russell’s current arrestee status is unknown.

n Brian M. Palmer, 24, of Germantown, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. Feb. 20 in Germantown and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both class A misdemeanors. Palmer’s current arrestee status is unknown.

n Nathan C. Markowitz, 26, of Ghent, was arrested at 9:31 p.m. Feb. 21 in Kinderhook and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor and first-time offense. He was given an appearance ticket for a later court date.

n Scott M. Himmel, 53, of Valatie, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 22 in Greenport and was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors and first-time offenses; and a motor vehicle license violation of having no license, an infraction. He was released to a third party.
