3 charged in drunken driving sting

Over the course of five days, state police from Troop F arrested 41 drivers across its coverage area made up of Sullivan, Orange, Ulster and Greene counties.

Three of the 41 arrests spanning from March 8 through March 12 took place in Greene County, according to a statement from state police.

n Georgios Maneris, 52, of Freeport, was traveling on Route 23A in Tannersville on March 11 when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation, according to a statement from state police. An investigation revealed Maneris was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

n In Coxsackie, Jennifer Rochler, 39, of Earlton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, according to a statement from state police. She was traveling on Route 81 in Coxsackie on March 11 when she was stopped by state police for a vehicle and traffic violation. Rochler was later discovered to have been impaired by alcohol.

n Eirena Drohan, 23, of Climax, was traveling on Route 9W in Coxsackie on March 12 when she was stopped by state police for a vehicle and traffic violation. She was revealed to have been impaired by alcohol and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

The other cases of driving while intoxicated took place in Highland, New Paltz, Monroe, Mamakating, Hurley, Thompson, Newburgh, Spring Valley, New Windsor, Montgomery, Kingston, Ulster and Hamptonburg, according to a statement from state police.
